What a beautiful day

Wish I would have called in sick.  One. because I am. and two it's time to pack for the week.  Last week for my hubby's treatment.  That's exciting and I am so ready to stay home.  Been wanting to catch up on my hobbies.  My garden, such as it is, didn't produce much this year.    We had a nice little storm blow in yesterday around 7 pm cooled things off for awhile.  I am hopefull that the warm weather will stay around a bit longer so my tomato's have a chance to come in.  They haven't grown much at all just a foot or two high.  No fruit.
So how are all of you doing?

Since I live in an apartment I have to container garden and my tomatoes didn't do too well either. I've got some fruit from them, but they were waaaaaaay smaller than they should have been. Not that much fruit either. I have 3rd degree burns on my forearm, but other than that I'm doing ok. I will note my herbs have done pretty well this year, my parsley actually started growing out of control! lol

I hope your husband's okay. What kind of treatment did he have?

The little garden in our yard is goin' gangbusters with tomatoes. Wish I could send some your way! We've also got some cucumbers that are getting big, too. It's been pretty dry, but we take the water from the kiddie pool (it's for our dog mostly) and use it nightly to water the plants. Seems to be working well. Thanks for the nice, friendly topic.
