Anyone living hundreds of miles away from any of your relatives??

Hundreds? More like thousands. I have family in Japan that I've only seen once in my whole lifetime and I don't remember it at all whatsoever since I was a baby.

Most of my family members are in another country, it will take me almost a day to FLY to see them!!!

My son is in the army and for a couple of years he was stationed in South Korea which meant he was thousands of miles away and he was homesick big time.  Now he is stationed at Ft. Hood and he is a couple of hundred miles away and if he was not married and had a family I have the feeling he would be up here on the weekend to do his laundry.    But yes we are a family who enjoys having fun together so it is always great to see him, his wife and my swing buddy when we can.

All my family and friends are in South Africa. Only my husband is here in the US with me. It takes me 3 days of various flights to get to see them.

I live about 14 hours away from most of my relatives.

My brothers live 26 hours from me with layovers.  The last few years I saw them once a year until our mother died.  Now I dont go home.

I have family in several different states, stretching from coast to coast...I have driven days to go see them. Flying is just ridiculous anymore.

About 25-26 years ago I moved to Florida with parents and some siblings. My closest relative, a sister, is still up north...about 2-3 day drive. I hate being away from her and my niece, her family and my nephew too. Now my parents are about 120 miles from me. I wish at times we had never moved.

I like sending cards to people. Sitting down and writing something and decorating the cards is therapy for me as well.

It doesn't matter how far away you are if you want to keep in touch you will. There are such things as phones, Skype, or computers. I know some of my relatives that live in the same town and might as well live around the world from each other.

Yes I live hundreds of miles away from many of my relatives, and somtimes it is very hard. I miss them and wish I could share day to day things with them somtimes. Social media is a great help somtimes making them not feel so far away.

I haven't done it yet but I'm sure I will in the next few years. When I was away for school I lived about 350 miles from home but I ended up closer to extended family members

I have one daughter and my 3 grandsons about 8 miles away. When I retired I moved here to be closer. My other daughter is 2 hours away. I miss my nieces and nephews and their parents because they live at a distance; my sister is in Canada. I'm thankful to have my grandsons close-by but I sure do miss everyone else.

I just moved from Sunny San Diego to Oklahoma. My husband's family is here, and they all live within an hour drive.
Mine is still back in San Diego.
It's been very hard (especially the holidays) but I do talk to them when I can. My sister and I both have new iPods and we can use the FaceTime app to talk to each other and see each other. Plus we text and talk on the phone.
This February I'm going out to visit for the weekend.

My dad and one of my brothers live a couple of hours away.. the rest of my family lives in other states

My family lives in Texas, me and my wife, and son live in Alabama.  In laws live in Tennessee.
