Do you manage to take a nap during the day?

As a senior citizen, I don't work, so I usually manage to get in a short nap - half an hour to an hour in the afternoon.  After eating my meal, I read for a bit and then fall asleep on the couch, sitting up.  At this age, it is refreshing.  When I was younger, a nap would just make me feel tired, etc. for the rest of the day.

If I have a free day and I am a little fatigue I will take a nap but for the most part I don't get to take a nap during the day.

Lately, I have resorted to putting on a movie for my kids 2-11 years, so that I can take a nap. I really need them because I have a 9 day old who thinks he should be up from 11 PM to 1 AM. I try to keep the TV off the rest of the day so that the movie is special.

I usually take a nap when my boys are taking theirs. Sometimes I don't get to because I have a busy day or one the boys decides to stay awake.

no, my body is mean and doesn't like me take naps in the day unless i'm sick or have a hugh head ache

A nap during the day would be bad news for me.
My naps are for hours at a time.
If I were to nap during the day I would never be able to sleep at night.

I enjoy taking a nap in the afternoon. I try to meditate during this time too. Puts me right to sleep.

Ok is it just me or does the day seem to go by faster than usual...today coming home from work closed my eyes and I knocked out for two hours....so I took a nap without wanting too..has anybody ever felt that way....

I try to get a nap during the day everyday! I have a very wild 2 year old and I suffer from insomnia. I dont sleep well at night but I am lucky enough that my 2 year old still naps so i just take one with her!

I take a nap every once in a while now. Even though I'm young but I'm not outside active, and I tend to stare at the computer too much so I'm always in the mood for a nap lol.

I cant take a nap unless it is completely dark in my room. so i have to cover my windows lol.

I am not a senior citizen but I think a nap is always good. Keeps you refreshed. God says we need our rest. I think rest is better than any drug out there for curing what ails us.

Sunlight makes my eyes tired its not really a body tired feelin its more like ur being hypnotized n ur ready to passsssssssss out ur so tired

If i have the time i'll just take little power naps other wise i just push through it
