I HATE WHEN EVERYTHING IS AUTOMATED OR THEY CONSTANTLY PUT YOU ON HOLD GIVE ME BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHERE YOU SPOKE TO A REAL PERSON

Yes, I do; especially when they come back every few minutes with an advertisement for their company.  It is very annoying!!

Being put on hold is the worst...especially when they tell you to hold for a certain time and they take longer.

I see I'm not the only one who hates that. Sometimes when I do finally get someone I ask them if they are a real person.

How about when they tell the allotted wait time is more than.... then you get a message saying if you would like you can go online that also drives me nuts I hate all this automation that to me is not good customer service give me a real live breathing human being any day. :thumbsup:

I think good customer service died several years ago....it went with full service gas stations.  I also don't like it when the person you finally get is in some other country and doesn't speak english well enough to be understood. :dontknow: :dontknow:

sometimes i like to talk to a real person and sometimes i just wanna push a button but my alll time irritation is not being able to understand the "english" the person is speaking

I can't stand the automated customer service prompts.  When I hear that's what I get I hit 0 to see if that gets me a live person.  If that doesn't work I will hit 8.  If that doesn't work I just start swearing and hang up.  If I wanted something automated I would use the internet.  On the other hand, I think I get more upset when I finally reach a real person and they can't speak english.

The only time I like to use an automated system is for my easy things like checking balances or stuff like that because it takes so long to talk to a person just to get quick information about your accounts. When I have an issue with something or need more information, the automated system drives me crazy. It takes forever just to find out how to talk to a real person and then there is a huge wait time. It also really bothers me when the person doesn't speak very good english and they are acting like I'm stupid because I don't know what they are talking about. I understand that people need to learn, but they shouldn't be hired for this type of job if they can't communicate with the customers. Customer service is just going down hill everywhere.

I also hate it when you cannot understand the person on the other end of the line, when you finally get a real person.  If the company is going to use a foreign country to answer their phones, they should make sure the helper cn speak english well enough to be easily understood.

YES!!!!! I hate that. There is a website that tells you how to speak to a real person but I forgot the name of it.  Maybe you could look it up on your browser.
