One of my best friends was strictly a vegetarian for a while, untill she started to pass out on a daily basis, I am a protein eater myself. Why deny my ancient ancestory, which ate all kinds of animals AND fruits and vegetables? :dontknow:

Veggies are good so long as meat/fish/fowl goes with it!

Actually a true Vegetarian will not eat any meat (fish is a meat), a true vegetarian will not eat any product with meat or meat biproduct in it, which means milk, cheese etc. To be a true vegetarian, it really is not healthy because as a human you need the protein for strong bone and memory, If you do away with all protein items you will actually make yourself susuptible to anemia and a multiple of other unhealthy diseases.

i don't *always* eat meat with every meal,
especially on nights when i don't feel like cooking
because meat takes so long to thaw. if i plan a
meal ahead of time though, meat is involved.

sometimes i just stir-fry some veggies and make
a yummy veggie wrap! i love grilled mushrooms
because they're "meaty" ...i like to do different
things with pasta and vegetables, too.

so... both!

I can never give up meat completely.  Beef yes but never fish or chicken.

I am a meat and potatoe kind of guy.  I don't like veggie that much but I do like green beans and a fesh salad but siser in law makes me eaut thats only because she cares, she does make sure I get my salads because I really like salads. She says I need to eat healthier and I am a little over weight so I try to listen.
