I love to crochet, have been  doing it for over 40 years, I sit in the car and make my flowers for scrapbooking while I wait to go in.  I just bought the sock loom would love to make socks on it this winter, while i sit in the car.

i use to all the time both knit and crochet but i never seem to have the time to sit and do it anymore but i would love to have the time

I did both for years but never really appreciated the relaxation factor as it seemed I always had a project going and life was busy. Since I retired, I have focused on knitting, am enjoying it more and I make sweaters, afghans and those wonderful cotton dish clothes that everybody loves to have.
Is it hard to learn how to use the loom?

Those dish towels are wonderful, I made six of them one day and really did not pay attention that I made that many. Love to crochet.

knitting intimidates me! i've watched videos and stuff and it looks really complicated. i'd like to learn, but  don't think i ever will 

i love crocheting, though. i've made a few blankets and hats and things for my friends, but what i like making the most is amigurumi. you know, little plushies and whatnot. those things are so fun to make, and so cute too.
