Section IV-C of the TOS:
Quote
Expiration. Once an offer or bonus has posted to a user's account, he/she must "cashout" within 180 days. After 180 days, offers and bonuses expire and are no longer eligible for payment.
lol I really don't care. I am aware of the screwing that goes on by the sites TOS if you have a life outside of the internet. I still think it is BS that I have been a member awhile and cannot reach threshold to cash out. What people aren't seeming to read is that "offers I have been doing don't credit" it is not my lack of trying but after awhile you get tired of seeing no credit to your balance.

It's a little funny that the people complaining of you 'whining' are also the people who have made and cashedout a few hundred dollars.  It's obviously very easy for them to say "I can't imagine someone not reaching the limit".  I'm on this site every day, I very rarely if ever qualify for the daily survey and due to only having a debit card, I cannot do the CC needed offers.  I'm obviously under the $25 limit and doubt that I will reach that limit.  I'm waiting for my netflix to go through, if it does.  I have a referral that didn't credit for whatever reason.  I have done offer after offer that hasn't credited, more often than not they don't.  I was really excited about this site, now...not so much.  Hopefully this description will help their imagination.

Celestos..Ive seen where youve been here awhile, so my asking if your clearing  your cookies and such is probably a dumb question.  One thing I found and completely overlooked was my firewall was on and I didnt know it.
Once I double checked that it was off, cleared my cookies and shut down my Spybot and antivirus, I found my credit ratio went up to 2 out of 3 offers credited.
I dont understand them taking money back because its never happened to me yet...But like you, Im sure Id be upset.  I dont call that whining either, but rather frustrated and simply venting.  Ive seen people in here that seem to get holier than thou as they get stars added to their rank or whatever that is, but remember, that dont make them better than us, just people who spend way too much time online and in the forum...after all, thats how you get your stars and rank, by posting comments, the more  you post, the more stars you get.

Thank you both for your great replies. I use to boast that this site was great and like you Kymberli0529 I have a debit card. Dealing with credit cards in the already downward spiral of the economy is just asinine in my opinion. As for the members that have cashed out a few hundred dollars I find it hard to believe they did it without the use of credit cards or unless they only used this site and never any other survey or GPT site. Most sites carry the same offers and in order not to violate terms members could only do the offers on one site. I myself am affiliated with a GPT site and we don't penalize members because that have lives outside of the internet, especially when members like myself even though the offers I have done aren't crediting still participate in the forums and remain active.

Hey Kymberli0529

I am new to FC and I have had a few issues with items crediting; however i have only been using it for 3 days and have already earned 62.50. I did this without using a credit card only using my visa debit card. Have you tried one of the offers requiring the CC but use your debit card? If you have not tried I would recommend it as it worked for me.

How much did you pay in debit card fees? Also I am curious which offers you did with your debit card.I tried that on a offer ,the emusic one I believe and it told me that it wasn't a valid credit card.

Wow I just looked at some of the CC offers, which I rarely do because I don't do them. Some of them seem like an awful lot to purchase to only earn $62.50   ??? Like one I looked at charged your card $78.23 after the trial period was over. I guess they really mean it when they say only do offers your interested in.

off topic but jimvictor you said you get more stars the more you post ? so the stars have nothing to do with how long you have been a member?

i only do the free offers, with the exception of netflix, and i have been a member seince may 2008, and i to have a problem with stuff crediting, but it seems more lately for some reason..

Usually we stay out of this kind of discussion, but it's been a while and you bring up a few things I want to respond to:
1) There is more than one kind of debit card.  Some debit cards have a visa or mastercard logo on them, which means they can (generally) be used anywhere a normal credit card is used.  Other debit cards (without a visa or mastercard logo) can only be used at POS terminals in stores (where you enter a PIN), ATM machines, and online sites which specifically accept debit cards that cannot be processed as a visa/mastercard (these are uncommon).  So depending on the kind of debit card it is, you may or may not have trouble using it when trying some of our sponsor offers.

2) Qualification and crediting for the daily surveys.  Like every single other offer on every single other rewards website, both qualification and crediting are up to the advertiser/merchant.  All we can do is pass it on when they DO credit.  I would LOVE it if the daily surveys were better, both in qualifying users and in crediting.  But despite many complaints which I have made, the offers seem to continue to credit when they credit and qualify when they qualify.  Since many (perhaps the majority) of users do not have significant problems with the daily surveys, we keep them on the site.  Obviously, this situation isn't ideal, but the only alternative is to remove the offers completely - which makes everyone worse off, in my opinion.

3) Your netflix completion DID credit

4) You received a bonus for referring a friend.  I noticed that you have two referrals, but one of them signed up while on your computer or on the same internet connection.  Doing so is a violation of the Terms of Service and also explains why you did not receive a bonus for their signup.

As for the original poster, I'm sincerely sorry that 180 days was not enough for you to reach the minimum.  The expiration deadline used to be only 90 days but we doubled it at the request of users like you.  Most of the people that were complaining about the 90 day maximum agreed that 180 days was a much more reasonable timeline.  The motivation for this is simple accounting: if we didn't expire earnings after some time, we would still have to maintain what's called an "allowance" account for potential cashouts of funds earned 3 years ago or more!  We've gotta be able to "close out" transactions after a certain amount of time, otherwise our accounting becomes unmanageable.

Sorry for the long post.  I hope this was helpful.

Edit: And while I can't deny that there are other sites in this industry that do not expire earnings, I challenge you to find one that is more than 2 years old with a reliable payment history.  Remember SWATcash and the dozens of other business failures in the past year?  I'm pretty sure most of them didn't have an expiration policy, either.

I appreciate the explanation and after checking my e-mail today was happily surprised to see my netflix did credit.  Yay!

As for the referral, she was on a different computer..I didn't think the same connection mattered.  Now I know and will refrain from referring friends while they're visiting :)

As for the debit card, mine does have a mastercard logo.  I'm not sure why it doesn't work, but after trying to make a phone payment for something yesterday and getting declined..I realize it must just be something up with my card.  Although, I did use it to pay for netflix.  Odd and extremely frustrating but not a huge deal.

As frustrating as this site may sometimes be, I've stuck with FC longer than any other get paid for/to sites so I'm happy it's here.  That being said, I'm happy my husband is here too but that doesn't stop me from b*tching about him.  ;)

Thanks.

The original quote was directed to jamiemac22's perusal in case he/she wasn't aware of it.

But I would also like to see the crediting ratio improve and I think if the network affiliates' partners credit more often when they should then situations like these would happen less often.

I tried that on a offer ,the emusic one I believe and it told me that it wasn't a valid credit card.
My debit went through for that offer but they didn't credit me.

Deal Barbie Pays has a very exceptional payment history as for a site that is actually older then two years  :) But I get what you mean.
As for the expiration policy most GPT owners I know that have been and stayed in business for over two years also have an emergency fund that covers their behinds in a time of need. Thank you for your great reply though you cleared up alot concerning the debit card dilemma and daily surveys:)
