We will be going to my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner and my inlaws for Christmas dinner.  My parents are elderly and I usually prepare 90% of the meal.

My parents live in another country, and always come for Thanksgiving.  but this year decided to come for Christmas instead.  So the way my family work and we are about 8 families, is that this year my husband's brother is doing Thanksgiving, but we will all cook something, the hosting family will do the main dish, like the Turkey, stuffing and probably some dessert, but all the other families will bring the rest of the dishes, and we do plan who is bringing what, so there are no repeats.

We do the same for Christmas Evedinner, which is the one we celebrate all together, and then Christmas Day, each familly has their own dinners at their house.

Our church does the big Thanksgiving dinner (pot luck and they provide the turkey) and we'll be going there again this year...

I am going to have Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day.  I work at Walmart and just today found out I will only have to work a half day and will get off at 11 am.  Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!  That way I can have my dinner about 1 pm.  I always cook ahead a time and have everything ready except making my yeast rolls and develed eggs the day we cook.  I am so glad to be able to have it on that day.  I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.
