Newspaper vs internet
« on: November 05, 2011, 05:05:51 am »
I was helping my son deliver his newspapers this morning and I just wondered how many people get a paper or just reads the news on the internet?

I don't buy newspapers anymore, I read the news on the internet or pick up one of the local free newspapers.

I still get the Sunday Register, but only for the coupons and ads.  I don't actually read any of the paper.  Just check in on the news online or the televised news.  I don't have time to read much of anything, especially the news.

I haven't bought a newspaper in years.  A lot of them have gone broke as a result of the Internet.

I still support the industry.  I get two newspapers every day.  I read them while I watch a couple hours of t.v. at night.  I can't just sit while I watch t.v. so always have something else to do.

 I get about 99% of my news from the internet. There are many things not being told from the mainstream media. For instance, many people aren't aware there's an EAS (emergency alert system) test being don on tv and radio on 11/9/11 at 2pm est for apx. 3 minutes.

I just read the internet sites for my news. I can't even remember the last time I bought a newspaper much less even thought about buying one. Times changes

I do not subscribe to newspapers any longer but we do still buy them a couple of times a week, mainly for the coupons but when we do I still enjoy reading the stories.

I read most of the news off the internet. The paper we get is for grocery ads!
