are people happy with thier jobs and careers

i have found that a lot of people now in days don't like their jobs and keep them just to make some money  . i don't think its right because i feel people are wasting away their whole lives by doing this and before you know it its too late to turn around and change your mind. i would love some feedback

I think with the economy at the moment people will stick to their jobs, even if they hate it. I have been trying to get employment (in various fields) for 7 months and my husband for 11 months, but still nothing! Once more jobs are available maybe one would feel easier to change to a more favorable job?

For the most part I like my job.  It has it's ups and downs but if I had a choice I would not be working.  My ultimate goal is to work from home and have my own business.
