ok so I just completed one of the work tasks for fushion cash and the pay out was suppose to be .50 and I only got .2! Does any1 know what could be causing this and how I can fix it?? Thanks

I had that same problem same task last night and again tonight I did contact support but nothing yet

It actually doesn't say 50 cents, it says 0.50 cents (which would be 1/2 a cent).  I think it would have been better to indicate it as 1/2 cents if that is the case to make it more obvious.  I certainly do not think many people will do the task for a half cent though.

Huh? Unless you have been taught a different currency system/equation than the one I (and banks, auditors, etc.) have always used, 0.50 cents IS equal to 50 cents. The correct way to indicate 1/2 a cent is 0.005 cents. You might want to rethink your answer on this one.

Look at how the surveys indicates currency.  For those that pay 2 cents they say 2 cents and not .02 cents, for those that pay 10 cents they say 10 cents and not .10 cents.  If I told you I was going to give you "ten cents" and then later I told you I was going to give you "point 10 cents" would you think them equivalent?

Here is a recent example about a complaint in gas prices "The Orange County average price is 16.2 cents more than one week ago, 26.7 cents higher than a month ago and 49.4 cents greater than a year ago. It has increased 27 of the past 29 days, rising 26.7 cents over that span, including 3.6 cents on Thursday."  The previous is correct usage and according to your rule it would have an indeterminate answer.  The use of "cents" means one hundredth of the standard unit, which for the US is a dollar.  One penny is equivalent to 1 cent and is equal to 10 times .1 cent.

.005 cents is not the same as half a cent (.005 dollars is though).  .005 cents is 5/10000th of a dollar or 5/100th of a cent.  It is like in percentages, 50 percent is not the same as .50 percent.
