No matter how they try to change it around, we still get the same amount of daylight with Daylight Savings Time as we get with regular time.  I don't like it.  I don't see any point in messing things up twice a year.  I wish they would ust pick one and stick with it  :BangHead:

So do we wish they would leave the time alone so we don't have to mess with changing our clocks, or do we like the time changes?

I think the original intent of the time change had something to do with giving farmers a longer day in spring and summer, which is their growing season.
That being said, my daughter found a way yesterday to "fool" her boys, 9 and 7 yr old twins. She set all her clocks ahead at 5 pm. That was fine until they noticed that the computer and Ipod had the correct time and they questioned it. Her response was that they all change at midnight :).  That worked  and only a little white lie.

I'm still so happy about the mild winter we had I really don't care what time it is! Weeeeeeeeee! If that wasn't great enough now it will be spring in just a little time longer I saw a flower! Yeeeee Hah!!! In all seriousness I like it like it is change your clocks ahead one hour and enjoy the little nuances of life. :peace: :peace: :peace:

I am neither crazy about the time change nor dead-set against it.  I do like having extra daylight at the end of the day.  The only real issue I have is adjusting; my body is still asking me, "What am i doing out of bed?"

Good Morning to All

I don't like the time change, and it always takes me at least a week to adjust.

I would love for the time to stay the same one way or the other it would make things so much easier.

I'd like for the time change to be abolished.

I hate having the time change. It would be so nice if they just left it alone. I don't think we need to do daylight Savings Time anymore.

I wish "they" (whoever they are) could create a system where it stays lighter at night all year as opposed to getting dark at like 430 pm in the winter.  That is depressing and add the cold from the Northeast it lends it itself to not being productive.  Not sure why it is necessary to have it be light super early in the morning.

Um, I think you'd have to talk to the guy in charge of putting the Sun away each day.

The time change works for me just great. I don't mind having longer days (sunlight that it) at the expense of getting up an hour earlier. The summer evenings are especially great having daylight well past 8 o"clock whert I live.
