The last time I filled up the gas tank, it was $4.14 and the price went down because last week it was in the $4.20 range.

Just saw a $3.79 posted at my regular fill up station.  Thank goodness for grocery cards that reduces the price.

Ours here in N.M. is now at $3.62 and is going to go up again. Heck of a jump in the last couple of days. Well the prez can't blame this one on Bush.

Neither can these price increases be attributed to the current president; those would be due to speculators' "fears" and oil companies' stockholder greed, (considering refining capacities and lowered overall demands on supplies).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Inflation and the monetizing of the debt are the two biggest factors (oil is valued in US dollars) and these fall under the fed, with speculation following after that.  I don't see where stockholders would come into play necessarily as they have every right to get the returns on their investments and no reason to be generous with the hostility directed towards them.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Yes, gas went up .10 over night from the place I drive by, but do not normally get gas. If I lived close enough to work, I would walk or ride my bike. I love doing out door things and this would be nice. But since I live 20 miles from work, and in colorado (lots of hills to get there) that is not going to happen. I just remember back around Christmas time when gas was under three dollars, man that was certainly nice and I miss that!!!
