Isnt that the way it goes all the time?? When you get a little money in your pocket something seems to come up. I also did my taxes early this year. Got them out and filed the beginning of February. I normally wait until about Mid March. This year they seemed to be simplier so I shot them out early.

It's partly because of Sunday being the 15th and also I believe there is a holiday in Washington I think that adds the extra day on.

I got mine done early and got my refund last month. Tax Day is 4/17 because 15th is Sunday and 16th is a holiday in Washington...Emancipation Day. So there's more time for last minute filers.  :)

I did out taxes on January 1st. We are self employed so no waiting for w2's... we needed money very badly (still do) so I couldn't wait to get them done. We got almost 5k for Federal and 300 for state. One of the joys of having kids.  lol you get to claim them on your taxes.

I did mine tax return in the beginning of Feb. Had it by the middle of the month by Direct Deposit. Wish I had that again. 1,200 dollars would be nice.
