DO you get scared to go to doctor?

Yes but when we don't follow our Dr advice they arent surprise. My Dr said he knows people don't follow his advice but its his job to say the information. I'm guilty of not taking my meds everyday..

I believe I am more frightened at the potential of the doctor discovering that I have an illness that had gone undiagnosed, which could possibly be life threatening. Im not afraid of the doc himself/herself, if anything I put my hope in that doctors talents and abilities to help me get better.

  I hate doctors too. I think they are like the mother..LOL they know what is good for us, but we don't listen. I am suppose to take medication for my high blood pressure and I don't  , I don't feel bad so I don't take medecine,    hope I don't reget it sometime.

going to the doctor really doesn't bother me. the only thing that bothers me is if i have to get a shot which i really hate because some nurses do it wrong and my arm hurts for days

Yes, at times I am very scared - one doctor I have ..
I like though ... These are the anxiety reducing techniques
I use before seeing an MD:  1- good sleep, 2. great nutrition,
3. excersize, 4. ask for social support, 5. hobbies, 6. I PAMPER
myself, 7. keep my mind sharp (sudoku !), 8. adjust my attitude,
9. I process my emotions, and ... 10. spiritual practise ...
ALL of these, even some of these, make me feel better about
going to a doctor ..

I get nervous when i go to the doctors. I never really thought much of them. They always tell me to take to asprin and call me in the morning...

Sometime i do get scare to go to the doctor exspecially when its time for a for a flu shot....

so, my body has gotten back to normal after the doctor wanted the dnc done. i didnt have the dnc done. i am just fine. all hormones are gone from the last pregnancy and i'm sure i can get pregnant again but i havent got pregnant yet( i checked yesterday). it was kinda disappointing not seeing another positive but it will happen i guess.

I don't get scared to go to the doctor as I am not afraid to tell them exactly how I feel, and if I am taking a medicine I think is making me feel worse, I just quit taking them and tell the doctor.  Only you know how your body reacts and is feeling, so don't be scared to go.

No I do not get scared to go to the doctor.  Used too alot, but after having health problems, seems like i don't really worry about that anymore.  Just wish I could be able to afford to go, really need my medicine but can't go, due to financial problems.

I only get scared when I don't know what is wrong with me.  Like if I am really sick or am showing strange symptoms that no one can diagnose...than yes, that scares me.  The unknown scares me.
