Me and my 2yr old daughter make granola together. Its better then the store bought stuff and its great geting her involved in the kitchen :) Remember tho the granola is only gonna be as good as the ingredients. Its pretty much rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, (any type of nuts that you like) chopped, honey, salt, and whatever additional add-in you want like raisins, chocolate chips, dried cranberrys, etc. You can make it to your taste :) Hope this gives you a idea. Good luck! (off hand idk if I got all the ingredients right but you can just look that up)

Since my daughter is 14 i usually get her granola bars and fruit cups. I stray away from sweets. I also make her homemade smoothies

Rice Krispies treats is something that would look like fun making;  I think that is a great snack to make with your kids.

We never fed our young ones snacks; if they wanted any, they'd have to forage in the wild.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
