Do you folow their directions?  I recently had to look up directions and found out they were routing me in a long round-about way.  It turns out I could go north five blocks and then straight west to get to my destination.

I have used Mapquest hundreds of times and it usually gets me where I want to go. It's not perfect of course but then neither is my GPS.

My GPS has guided me to dirt roads in Los Angeles and closed roads. I like to keep both, GPS and Mapquest on hand.

This site seems to get us lost more than it gets us to our destination. We have been traveling in circles before after following this. Maybe it is better now, but it used to be all messed up.

Here in central NM they have a lot of mistakes.  :dontknow: I submit corrections when I can.  I don't usually use any trip planner.  My sense of direction is good and I usually have stops en-route.

I do. I also consult with my Thomas Guide as well to compare the routes to see which way is better to travel.

Mapquest is a good way to locate a destination, most people nowdays use GPS to find there locations.

We just used it last weekend and it got us where we were going with just a few minor issues.

Mapquest works pretty well for me. I use it to get an idea of what an area looks like if I've never been there before.

I've used mapquest several times....very weird....sometimes it works to get you to your destination, and sometimes it does take you the long roundabout way. I only use a gps now and sometimes that isn't right!
