I wonder why an image of an osterich with its head buried in the sand was "removed/deleted"?  Hrmm ... testing, testing ...

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

The test was just to see if it was a glitch in the pic itself or, a copyright infringement by reposting.

I am going to have to leave FC as well. I am sick of the abuse from some posters and having to spend three or four hours to find things to comment on. I have been on this site for over a year and only earned $125. Time for me to find another more profitable site.

Don't go away mad ...

I am sick of the abuse from some posters ...

'Coincidentally', some posters are "sick of" rebuttal replies being falsely labeled as "abuse" by whining fundies.

... and having to spend three or four hours to find things to comment on. I have been on this site for over a year and only earned $125. Time for me to find another more profitable site.

You've just tacitly admitted to being slow and lazy and blame everyone but yourself.  Bye now.

I'm sorry to see you leave.  I do hope you find something that fits what you would like to earn.  I agree with you, to a point, that some of the posting in here is not as enjoyable in some threads as it used to be.  It's a shame some people feel they must come in and provoke and cause dissension in some threads that many have previously enjoyed.  It's not right, but it's very obvious that it's going to stay, and I hate to see people leaving.  There will be a day of accountability for everyone and I feel bad for some who will regret many words posted against people simply for believing something different.  Maybe you'll change your mind and stay, but if not, I wish you the best and hope you find some sites you will enjoy.  :)

... some of the posting in here is not as enjoyable in some threads as it used to be.  It's a shame some people feel they must come in and provoke and cause dissension in some threads that many have previously enjoyed.

Conversely, it's a "shame" that some people seemed to treat the FC forums as if they were some sort of private xtian country clubs for proselytizing their religious beliefs.  Although 'enjoying' religious propaganda is in the eye of the beholder, it was thinly-undisguised proselytizing.

It's not right, but it's very obvious that it's going to stay, and I hate to see people leaving.

On the contrary, I'm glad that FC supports the freedom of presenting dissenting viewpoints, (secular & non-secular ones, among others).  Those who want it their way only, excluding dissenting viewpoints, are free to stay or leave.

There will be a day of accountability for everyone and I feel bad for some who will regret many words posted against people simply for believing something different.

Or, if one holds no such specious religious belief, accountability is now and I have no regrets for opposing irrationality with reason.

"If we go back to the beginning we shall find that ignorance and fear created the gods; that fancy, enthusiasm, or deceit adorned or disfigured them; that weakness worships them; that credulity preserves them, and that custom, respect and tyranny support them in order to make the blindness of men serve its own interests."

Thanks for admitting that your passive-aggressive posts are solely for the purpose of applying for the forum posting bonus.

I have chosen to ignore the hateful post and when I see the names of the people I think are negative I just scroll down.  I will not let them win by going off the forum.

I have chosen not to ignore the hateful xtian proselytizing posts promoting a religious belief directly responsible for the suffering and deaths of millions of people.  I have chosen to continue to oppose such blind-faith upon ethical grounds.

Ah yes let us take advice on morality from a misogynist who is suspected of engaging in incest with his sister.  Is it any wonder, though, that you would cite such a person.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

It applied to the specious superstition which hides under the self-delusional banner of xtianity, just like you do.
