I like keeping up with my family and friends, but I dislike some of the changes.  If you use it right, it can be fun and useful.

I like facebook because I keep in touch with my family around the world. I also have found friends and some enemies that I have not seen in years. There have been people who found lost relatives presumed dead. A guy got a kidney after posting he needed one. I have been involved in sensitive topics like religion, gay marrieage and politics. I have been insulted, mocked and put down. It is also a way to vent out some steam. Of course I don't insult or put people dowm.

FB brings very little value if your not down with external validation.  Will be irrelevant but not for awhile since people need the EV.  Just as FB crushed myspace, the social media evolution will continue.  Not a hater, just a realist.

i really don't like facebook was more or less forced to join because my family all did it and stopped using myspace I liked myspace better and I hate the new timeline and that you got to see what every one says fills my screen with junk and seen on tv where alot of the workers became millionaires last night due to the ip or whatever it was the owner did also there are supposibly 8 or 800 million ppl a month checking their facebook.

I like it for the fact I know what's going on with friends and family. Otherwise I wouldn't use it. I only have a few friends and family on there so I'm not constantly bombarded by e-mails or anything. I just use my phone to check it.

My job will not allow any of its employees to have a Facebook account.  Although, I believe some of them (my job's employees) have figured out a way to keep a Facebook account and still keep their current jobs.  When I can find out how to get a Facebook account and keep my current job, I'll let you know whether I like Facebook.

I find the social media sites to be incredibly boring most of the time.  I check them out occasionally but not too often.

facebook helps me keep in touch with friends and family. id like it better if i could put music and graphics on my profile to express myself like i could on myspace.
