Post Mania?

A 3-4 hour posting frenzy interspersed with trivia and who-said-it quotes which yielded bonuses for some.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I tried some years ago at Apache Jii when some San Carlos folks in AZ held festivities.  Apparently, it's frowned-upon to use fry bread to make a ham & cheese 'sammich', (but surely they were selling an alternate to the 'white-eyes'?).

When it comes to good fry bread rules go out the window lol. There used to be a little restruant at exit 108 on interstate 40 in oklahoma that had the best ever NDN taco. The frybread that was its foundation was soooo airy and lite.....aww dude....melt in your mouth. The place was owned by a white guy but I think most if not all the staff was NDN, and I just kno there was someones GrandMother in the kitchen crafting that frybread. The only draw back to the place was they would try to hand you tabasco if you asked for hot sauce. I was there adding some habanero sauce to mine from a bottle I brought with me, after learning how they were......every eye in the place turned to me....looked to me like they had mugging on their mind. I passed the bottle around and enjoyed my meal in peace. lol.

Well, there's at least one benefit that's not much of a misnomer or propaganda then; NDNs generally like spicey foods.
