I found this interesting website http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/failed/banklist.html that lists failed banks. I was surprised so many banks were in trouble.

Thank you for that reference link, Mildred.  Oftentimes it's good to be able to check and see whether one's bank suddenly appears on that list or not.
