Changed Internet Providers
« on: June 01, 2012, 08:21:20 pm »
I changed internet providers this week to save money. This won't mess up my FusionCash account now that my IP will be different, will it?

You can find me on Youtube!

You may consider opening a Support ticket to more directly advise FC of the change details, (rather than posting them here).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Changing your ISP will not cause you a problem, provided you are the only person using your specific ISP to access your FC account.

If your ISP is a public access account or one with a group access, there may be a problem.  I had considered moving into a retirement vacility that has a group digital internet server and decided (by myself) that this would be a problem since everyone in the retirement community would be using the same ISP.

But if you are connected via a normal cable ISP connection, it should not be an issue.  I shifted from a dial-up ISP to a Comcast broadband ISP 2 years ago and  the change caused no problem.

If you're not sure whether your ISP is singular (ie just you) or a multiple access ISP (ie many people), then, as falcon suggested, send in a support ticket with the specifics ( ie name of ISP provider; how accessed etc) to Support.
