How much money is a good gaming computer?

My husband wants to get a gaming computer, he is working on it, but he can't really tell me how much it is going to cost.

Depends on the specs he wants.  Does he want a desktop or a laptop?  They have some pretty good laptops that run in the range of $1000-$1300.  A premaid desktop can run anywhere from $1200-$1600 depending on the specs.  If you are capable of buld your own with buying the individual parts you will be able to build a very future proof gaming rig.

 Hi, I've looked on craigslist for some computers, And i came across a few gaming computers and they were'nt to cheap, 400-500 used. A new one going to cost you a 1000 or more.

Yeah, I hope he's not buying a laptop if he's getting a gaming PC.  Youtube has some DIY videos on how to build a gaming PC.  I ordered all my parts for the one I built a few weeks ago off newegg, and built a computer for 700 bucks including the operating system.  If I had gone to a store and bought it, it probably would have cost me around $1100.
