Don't make the mistake of having your kids, friends, or neighbors use YOUR Internet connection to do ANYTHING on FusionCash! My (grown) girls have separate accounts but made the mistake of using the same Internet connection. Yes, it does state not to do that, so no excuses offered. Be sure to read that fine print, folks.

You did taze them, just to emphasize your point, yes?

LOL, good one, Falcon9.  It makes sense to read the rules before you join.  Like Nancy Pelosi had the gall to say: "Well, we have to pass it before you can find out what's in it!"  Yeah... that's what got us all in to this mess to begin with.

Im glad this topic has been brought up today. I did read the fine print but what if someone hacks your internet or something or is stealing it from someone else? How are you suppose to be responsible for that or to put a stop to it?

I am glad to see this topic this morning.  I was aware of rule and only use my laptop, but did not realize using a different internet connection could affect you.  I have taken my laptop on vacation before and done Fusion Cash.  So did I just get lucky and not cross hairs with another Fusion Casher or is the IP address of my laptop.  Some of the technical stuff confuses me.  Does the internet connection have the IP address or is the laptop OR both?

The IP address comes from the service you use to connect to the Internet (Internet Service Provider or ISP). Yes you got lucky, but I make enough money here I am not willing to take that risk.

I live alone so I have never had to deal with the problem but I believe that Fusion Cash only allows one account per household. That makes it difficult if more than one member of a family or household want to join Fusion Cash. They can't.  :(

I'm in the same situation. My husband sees how much I earn on Fusion Cash and wants to join too, but we only have one Internet connection and one laptop computer. So I have to make all that I can to help him out!  :P

Sorry about the issue with fusion cash. But I do understand why fusion cash make these rules. There are so many cheaters and spammers that ruined it for everyone else. :sad1: You get angry and then you try to move on nothing else to do :dontknow:

If you think someone is stealing or hacking in to your connection, call your internet service provider and get help with securing your connection, especially if you're using WI-FI.  If your connection isn't secured with a strong password and it's easy to crack, you'll get those people who drive through your neighborhood looking for unsecured connections to use.  It's called WAR DRIVING.

Good point, thanks for the pointer. :) Does anyone use a computer at a library or school?
How can I tell if that computer has a fushion cash account used on it? I will be back in school in a week so I was thinking of utilizing some of my time there for fushion cash.
Any ideas? ;D

I was not aware of the rule.  :'( Sad people find something good a ruin it for others.

Since Fusion Cash uses your IP Address to know who you are, I don't suggest using a library or school computer.  They would: 1. Obviously have a different IP address from the one FC knows you're using; and, 2. I would think those IP addresses are more of a PUBLIC IP address rather than a PRIVATE IP address you may use at home.  It would never be the same IP address each time you used it, and I guarantee it wouldn't be a SECURE IP addy.

Thanks for the feedback Oldbuddy.  I appreciate it.
Well, I guess I will just have to miss Fusion Cash when I go to Hawaii end of the month.  LOL  I am sure I will survive. LOL  I will look into the option of accessing the home network you mentioned.  I might fire back up the old desktop that has been quiet for a long time if I figure it out.

Rules are rules.  One per household.  I guess because some people set up accounts or pretend their animals are real people and will carry them on their tax return.  Perhaps those same people set up multiple accounts of their animals or other 100 personalities.  Those people that have multiple people inside of them.  Don't laugh, it can happen or has happened.   Darn those blasted people  :o
