My son and I enjoyed for about 30 min of a light show they had here. It was very nice and he really was excited.

They are banned here on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Before then it was like a war zone all over the island. So much smoke, but it was fun. Now they have displays on the beaches. I think the city gave out 12 permits this year. But I didn't go. Now it's the traffic and parking that's murder. But I heard the booms!

Had a great display in my town this year.  Last year they couldnt have them because of severe fires here.  So they doubled up on them this year.
Was an awesome show.  :)

I love fireworks too, but people DO need to be considerate. With the 4th falling on a "work night" for some people,  cities shoud have required that people light them over the weekend when MOST people have off. I know it doesn't get late until dark, but COME ON PEOPLE!!!

I chose not to go, the heat this year was too much for me after spending the day at a grill out and pool party.

There were no fireworks where I live. It's too dry.

We saw lots but we weren't that close.  They do them off the battleship in the river.  But this time we went to the opposite side of the river and just parked at a Scotchman store parking lot.  Yet this parking lot got packed!!  Next year I'm going back to the other side and gettn real close.

Several cities around here cancelled their displays because of the extreme fire danger but it didn't stop a bunch of my neighbors.  Just saw it on TV but I thought the fireworks display error where they all went off together really was spectacular.

Didn't have fireworks at our neighborhood this year, I think it's because of the city's budget.
