Applying lotion irritates the spots that are burned.

Find the plainest form of aloe that you can. I have some panama jack brand, it is green and in a gel form. I put it in the fridge and it really helps cool the burn and take the red out.

Take an ice cold shower and apply aloe vera. I've heard that taking a hot shower somehow makes it go away faster, but let's face it--cold showers can't be beat!

I have used in the past white vinegar put on a brown paper bag and then lay the bag on the sunburn.  It stinks, but it does help.  Best thing to do is not get a sun burn to begin with, use sun block or stay in.

ALOE!!!!  lol  I will try the white vinegar though. I always keep organic aloe vera juice in the fridge. It's healthy to drink and keeps your insides strong. Great for stomach aches and joint pain. I also put it on my face after washing it morning and night.

Aloe from the aloe plant works awesome....cut a "leaf" off, split it down the middle and smear the jelly goo all over the burn!

Try soaking in a cold bath. Aloe vera also helps a bit too. Hope you feel better soon!
