Do you christmas shop in July?

I like to do my Christmas shopping throughout the year.  That way I'm not in a mad rush at the end of the year trying to figure out what to get everyone on my list.  I spend that time wrapping up what I've bought through the year and can actually enjoy the Christmas season.

Sometimes I shop early, it just depends on how motivated I am, and the cash I have available throughout the year.

I usually don't Christmas shop during the month of July!

when I could afford it I shop out of season so that I could get betters prices on the things that will be a lot higher when they are in season. I do try and get my chrismas shopping done early, but the earliest I shopped for Christmas is October.

If I do any Christmas shopping at all it's usually around November. Much too early to start now.

I only start shopping for christmas about a month, maybe two from the day. I don't really think about it the rest of the year.

We basically shop all year round for the holidays. If we see something one of the kids will like and we can afford it at the time we pick it up.

Shopping for Christmas in July? I usually don't but I guess if I found good deals during that month, I might get a couple things.Can't go wrong with sales and good deals.

I usually start in October so that everyone I am buying something for gets a gift and it does not put a strain on my credit cards or my brain

Most years I have shopped through the year as I have seen things that are just right for someone and at a good price.  Times are a little tougher right now so the shopping ahead has been a bit stunted. Things will change and life will get back to normal again as it always does and shopping for the holidays will return to it's prior schedule.  It's fun to do it through the year and then at the holidays there is the fun of all of the wrapping!

I christmas shop all year round so I don't have to do it all at once.

We Christmas shop year round.  Then it is not such a financial hit all at once.  We also do a lot of shopping in the days just ater Christmas for paper and decorations for next year.  I also give all the young/little  ones in the family their own ornamanet each year.  Then when they get their own place they have something to start with.    They each get a big plastic box and get ornaments and decorations for holidays as they grow up.  It is always fun to see the decorations all out when they are older.   /color]
