5o Shades of Grey is a good book to read.  It has three parts.  To get the best out of this book, read part one, two, and three.

I have started reading it and it is like 'Mommy *bleep*'!  I don't know how they are going to get this up on the screen with a rating of less than 'X'.  I have heard, on the radio, that Ryan (Gosling?) is going to be cast as the male actor and that they are looking at Kristen Stewart for his female counter-part if she can keep from going crazy after the public's opinion of her(had nooky with her Snow white director while datin Robert Patterson).  It seems like a softer rewrite of "the Story of O".  Fairly well written romance and should keep readers somewha entertained.

I keep hearing that it is a good book but I'm really not that interested in it.  I don't know if this is true but I heard it started out as a Twilight Fanfiction so it already has a bad connotation in my mind.   Plus, with all the other things I want to do with my time, I don't really want to spend it reading about someones bedroom scenes.

I read it on vacation. I've got no problem with adult novels. There's really nothing in there that's much different than some of the women's bodice-buster romance novels from the late 70's and early 80's, maybe mixed in a bit with Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty books. But what I read is just so badly written. Like many other people have said in different reviews, it honestly reads like a 15 year old girl was writing.

Something that's both hysterical and very well written, are the reviews of the book on Amazon

I've heard by a few people that 50 Shades was originally a Twilight fan-fiction.
I heard that they changed the names and title so they wouldn't be infringing on the Twilight's copyright.
If that's the case, I'm not sure I want to read it.
I also hear it's just a bunch of rated X stuff.

Once something gets that hyped I lose interest.  Is it just me that does it?
