Just wondering.  Did anyone watch the Republican National Convention last night?  I didn't, don't like horror shows.   ;) :peace:

Don't be afraid of the monster in your closet.  If you would look you may realize it is only a sturdy overcoat that would protect you from the harsh elements.

Your statement basically implies that you have been convinced to be afraid of anything that was said there by people who so badly want to frighten you that they would not want you to watch it for fear that you may vote for that party instead of the one using such scare tactics against you.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Man we are living in some scary times right now. If you don't believe it. get out and talk to people about what is going on in their lives right now, how they are barely able to pay for all of their needs. This is while they watch others on entitlements spending like crazy. But some people just have too much pride to ask the govet for handouts. look around and don't just stick your head in the sands and wait for someone else to take care of it ( it has been almost 4 years and nothing has happened for the good yet.

I didn't watch but I heard some clips of speeches. I enjoyed what I heard. Each speaker I heard was talking very strong about restoring Amedrica. That is great.

Too funny!  I haven't watched the Republican National Convention but I have listened on National Public Radio. Ninety pecent of what is said is false just as I expect the Democratic convention to be.  For instance tonight's Republican Speaker stated that the Democrats are trying to demonize Mitt Romney's Bain Capital accomplishments.  I believe that is a tad bit out of the realms of truth.  I think that people have questioned whether he was still connected to Bain when they started deconstructing corporations and eventually bankrupting them.  Mitt said no yet his tax returns showed that he was still being paid...small white lie. The Republicans accused Obama of letting a factory, that he promised to keep alive, die.  It was shown that this happened a month before he took office.  I expected more from the Romney campaign.
