Since you didn't quote what you're referring to, "resistance is futile" isn't a 'verse', it's a "borg" quote ... are you implying that xtians are the borg?

I love that verse and use it almost daily.

I love this verse. I hope to see more scriptures here in the future. It's nice to see people focused on positivity and not being negative all the time. The world is filled with so much hatred and cruelty it is sad. Continue to spread the word. Peace and blessings to you all:thumbsup:

Those holding uperstitious religious beliefs and blind faith are responsible for plenty of suffering of deaths; why promote such and then falsely deem it as "positive"?

This is one of my favorite verses. I love studying Philippians. It is a short book, but very encouraging.

That's the same mindset as encouraging those that don't like "profanity" not to read it, (instead of FC prohibiting it through filtering software).  If it's permitted to post some other 'offensive'/contentious subject matter here, it's permitted to oppose/contend it.

"Assimilation"? I told you he was an android!LOL

Hey,Falcon......"Resistance is futile" ;D

You remind me so much of my dad. His name is also Johny. He is even big into star wars. Not to mention he looked like the Luke charactor when he was younger.

Your dad sounds like a real cool guy!

Yup he is in Gemmany serving right now. He has been all over the world. I am just glad he doesn't have to go back to Afganistan for now. He served in the Air Force when he was young and went into the Army as a PFC at 44. They took two years off his age because of his prior military service so he could go in. He went back in with my brother Lucas. So proud of them both. :)

Psalms
Chapter 52
1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.

2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.

5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

Thanks a lot for that. Lets see I think I will post Psalm 53 today. Seems like it goes well with Psalm 52.

Psalms
Chapter 53
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Rom 3:10 Psa 14:1

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Rom 3:11 Psa 14:2

3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:12 Psa 14:3

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

from KJV Bible

Someone told me that ignoring someone is letting them win. However, I can debate with someone all day as long as it is polite. People can beleive what they want. It is their life and their eternity. All I ask is to be considerate of other people's feeling. Its like it says on the rule post, "behind every computer is a real person with real feelings." Every time Falcon made a post it was just a rude attempt to show off to no avail. I don't want to be a part of that. If we disagree thats ok with me, but I don't attack people whatever faith they are and should be treated the same way. I am not going to back down from being a Chrisitan and will not tolerate someone trying to bash me 24/7 so thats why I ignored him or her.

Someone told me that ignoring someone is letting them win.

Did they also misinform you as to what the word "ignore" actually means?

"ig·nore [ig-nawr, -nohr] verb (used with object"
1. to refrain from noticing or recognizing: to ignore insulting remarks.
2. Law . (of a grand jury) to reject (a bill of indictment), as on the grounds of insufficient evidence."

The meaning is not consistant with claiming to ignore and then talking about, (gossiping), what/whom you're supposedly ignoring.  Doing so is evidence that the claimaint does not understand what the term "ignore" means and is therefore ignorant of that meaning.

However, I can debate with someone all day as long as it is polite. People can beleive what they want.

That is also a dubious claim, based upon your previous posts which show a pronounced reluctance to "debate" any view in opposition to your religious beliefs.

Every time Falcon made a post it was just a rude attempt to show off to no avail.

That's a false accusation based upon subjective bias/assumptions and not evidence.

I am not going to back down from being a Chrisitan and will not tolerate someone trying to bash me 24/7 so thats why I ignored him or her.

I'm not going to back down in opposing religious blind faith on open forums and will not tolerate false accusations, (lies), from faith-blinded xtians who pretend to "ignore" while not ignoring.  That's a passive-agressive faux martyring facade which far too many xtians employ to give the appearance of victimhood where there is none.
