Yes. all the time. Well, all the time when I'm not at work or around my child. So yes, but not that often? Lol

Never once in my life heard my dad cuss/curse. Heard tell my mom cursed in her younger days, but kept a jar to add money whenever she did. Guess she had to give that money away. So never heard my parents or grandparents cuss/curse. I suppose I could if it was "needed", but it isn't so, usually don't cuss/curse.

I think, it's a normal thing to cuss, we learn it from our family & the environment that we're raised in. I curse all the time but not cause I like it it's mostly when,I'm in some kind of emotional state. Like pissed off, mad, scared, sad, excited etc.....

My advice to you is to not care what the neighbors think about you. Just cause you cuss all the time doesn't define the kind of person you are. It's just a habit that most of use don't even realize we're cursing out loud. So, don't worry about it, those who love will love you just the way you are! :peace:

I don't use "bad" words, calling them "bad" imposes guilt and shame.   We don't need to put guilt and shame on ourselves or others.  :bs:

I do give myself permission to cuss like a sailor whenever I choose though.  8)

I don't use cuss words typically, but once in a great while I might use one under duress (like if I drop a ladder on my foot...).  The words just don't sound right to me, very base.

I guess that's why I appreciate British television/movies - I found they have the most elegant way of insulting others (in general).  I much prefer to use that form of speech in those situations.

cursing is a bad bad habit to start.  You shouldn't start if you don't do it now I say that because kids pick up the darnedest things and I tell ya being a mother of five I slip from time to time and monkey see and then the monkey do just like that...I give props to you for not cursing it's a good thing that you never started.

Typically I try not to cuss especially around the ten year old. She uses `fudge nuggets' and such when she wants because she knows she would get her mouth washed out with soap. The 17 year old on the other hand cusses all the time and we don't like it. I can't really do anything about it because she is taller than me now( just a couple inches shorter then her daddy) but my husband does do something so she is trying not to cuss around him. :bs:

Occasionally.  I think our environment determines it somewhat.  I grew up in a very strict household but watch a particular program that has a lot of swear words that get stuck in my brain sometimes and I have to be careful.  :)

I very seldom cuss and when I do its usually because my husband makes me really mad and if he's been cussing (which he does a lot) then I'll cuss right back at him.  I later feel really bad about the cussing.  Our kids are grown and gone but now we have grandkids around and have to be careful what they hear.  Both my parents cussed like drunk sailors lol and maybe that's why I don't too often.  The F word has gotten to be such an everyday cuss word that it disturbs me.  I've heard our own daughters use that word and I sure don't approve of that:  to me that is the very worst cuss word there is.  Some people (like my husband) use cuss words instead of proper words to describe something or someone.  Anyway, that's my opinion.
