Really not likening Cool for the Summer by Demi Lovato.  I’ve even tried listening to a few remixes.  It just doesn’t sound like a really summer song to me.

I put all the inspirational songs together in one playlist, you know songs like fireworks by Katy Perry, Battle Cry by Shontelle, Stand Up by Sugarland etc.  Out of all of them the one I keep going back to is Courage by Orianthi feat. Lacey.  While all the others, Even Rachel Platten is inspiring, nothing is more powerful than Courage.

No matter how many times I listen to Cecilla by Simon and Garfunkel or Sussudio by Phil Collins I can’t help but enjoy them.  That is when you know a song is really good.

Say what you want about Madonna but the fact that she is still on the charts about forty years after she’s come out means there is only one reigning queen and its Madonna.  Take that all you Taylor Swift and Katy Perry fans.

I love music; all except Rap and Opera!  I used to listen to Country but haven't in a few years.  I now listen mostly to Classic Rock although I do throw in different music too.  When I'm home alone cleaning the house I put music on and play it pretty loud.  Really gets me moving! lol

I like Nicki. Love her actually. I don't necessarily like ALL her songs but I like many of them and no matter what I respect her craft. She is a performer and a lot of her presentation that she gets flack for (the animated voices characters faces costumes) comes from her love of theater.

She grew up in a rough environment which she talks about on her more emotional tracks among them Autobiography which I love. And now look at her. She's got plenty of naysayers but she's still an internationally recognized artist. How many female rappers can say that?

One of my favorite things she did was hire someone she just happened to watch on youtube and gave her a makeup job. Her reason being that she knows what it's like to be broke and not getting due recognition for your talent.

People try to put her in a box but she's too multifaceted for that. She's street, she's pop, she's artsy, she's assertive not aggressive, sensitive, funny, business savvy, she is beautiful beautiful beautiful. I just adore her. Buy The Pink Print on iTunes

It makes me so mad when people make fun of Kelly Clarkson’s weight.  She really wasn’t all that thin to begin with but to compare her to Taylor Swift is just stupid.

I love Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon but I honestly don’t see those guys having another big hit like that one.  Hopefully I’m wrong but then…remember Calloway?  Exactly!

One Direction just pisses me off.  First they lose one of their members because he wants to spend more time with his family.  (Which honestly I am thinking, ‘didn’t you know you’d be away from them if you got famous?’) And now they want to take a break.  They just broke SIX world record.  (Most popular dance game track- What Makes You Beautiful has been viewed more than 40 million times on Just Dance 4.  Most subscribers for a band on Youtube- Almost 16 million subscribers.  Most followers on Twitter for a band- Just more than 23 million followers.  Highest debut by a British band on the US singles chart - What Makes You Beautiful ended up on number three.  First group to debut at number one with their first four albums in the US.  And number six, first British group to debut at number one in the US with their debut album.)  What band in their right mind would walk away after that?  Honestly, I wouldn’t be loyal to them when they ‘decide’ to come back.  They clearly can’t cut it the way the old bands did.  That’s why The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith are still around and they won’t be.  Not if they can just ditch the fans and the music because they can’t make the grade—or rather made the grade and decided it’s too hard to continue to keep it up.

This is silly but I really love Wildest Dreams by Brandy B-Rocka Norwood, teen queen of the 90s, sweet voiced angel with heavenly harmonies. What do I get when I search for it? Taylor Swift. Taylor with her struggling vocals and long back. Annoying.
