So my four year old niece and I have something in common.  We both listen to Katy Perry.  I recently made a playlist we can listen to of her music, just a great hits type of album however I don’t really think ‘I kissed a girl’ is appropriate for a four year old to listen to.

Got the new Martina McBride album Everlasting.  Wild Night is the best song on it.

Beyonce is awesome in her latest video Pretty Hurts.  While the message of the song is powerful and therefore understandable why Beyonce has to lose the pageant, the only problem I have is why couldn’t they pick a pretty girl to win?

I don’t care much for Alicia Keys except for Girl on fire but she is amazing in the Spiderman theme It’s on again.

I don’t like Katy Perry’s Birthday music video.  While she does a good job playing multipule roles I think the song itself deserved a better video.

I am glad Colbie Caillat is back.  I love Hold On.  I think it’s her best song yet.

Jar of hearts by Christina Perri was okay but I just think Human stinks.  She has a voice that I think could be better used than the type of songs she is wasting them on.  A thousand years is her best song so far in her particular style.

I think Miranda Lambert’s song she keeps me warm is a very beautiful song.  She even as a great voice to match the lyrics.  They blend perfectly together.

Just can’t get Hey Brother by Avicii out of my head.  Especially now that it’s in a car commercial.

I can’t believe with Demi Lovato’s version out with included video Disney decided to release Idina Menzel’s version of Let It Go.  I like Idina Mezel’s voice better than Demi’s but seriously, do we really need two versions of the same song?  And if they planned on releasing Idina’s version why go through the trouble of having Demi make a version?

I’ve tried to like Lorde.  Her song lyrics are amazing and I even like her voice but there is just something I can’t get past. Maybe it’s the rhythm of her songs.  I don’t know.

I love love love Taylor Swift!!!! Her voice is just amazing and the lyrics she writes is pure genius. Even though people always complain about her being pop instead of country, I think that she should sing both, her sound is different from others and she should sing whatever she wants.
“To me, Fearless is not the absence of fear. It's not being completely unafraid. To me, Fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, Fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death.” ~Taylor Swift

Okay so I get that sex sells.  I mean if it didn’t 97% of songs out there either wouldn’t be out there or wouldn’t have the music video in which they do.  That being said what is this sudden fascination with butts?  Between Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda and Jenny from the Block’s Booty, not to mention all the club remixes and video pics, it’s like an explosion of the rear-end fascination.  It’s just so trashy it’s disgusting.

I think Nicki Minaj is one of those artists you either love or hate.  I actually love her because she raps and sings.  Usually a singer sacrifices one for the other and because she can do both, and does both that’s what makes her different and why she is so popular.  I mean that’s why I like her so much.
Not a fan. I like Classic Rock. I also like some of the new satuff. Lords is one I like. Do wish they could come up with some new melodies. Miss those riffs.Nothing like Old Rock&Roll.
