I watched Jack Reacher with Tom cruise, the fight scenes in slow motion and it amazed me what a good actor Tome Cruise really is.  I mean the facial expersionces during the fight scenes were spot on.

I just finished watching the first Aladdin by Disney and I have to ask, ‘What’s up with the color?’  When ‘Al’ is just a street rat his is an arab color yet once he becomes a prince and especially in the final scene he’s black.  I think that needs to be digitally remastered.

Robin Williams is just incredible in whatever cartoon he’s in.  I would like to see him host the Oscars.

While I realize that some actors only make money doing what they are famous for (such as Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil, Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, Bruce Willis in Die Hard), it just seems stupid.  I mean really.  How many Fast and Furious movies do we really need?  They’re already up to six.  But then without ‘em it’s like ‘who the heck is Paul Walker and Vin Diesel?’

I enjoyed Knight and Day with Cameron Dias and Tom Cruise.  It had just enough romance to be a ‘chick flick’ but action packed enough for a guy to like.

I think Knight and Day is the first time Cameron Dias proves she can be a real actress.  I’ve seen her in other things (have her in Charlie’s Angels) but her acting skills are the finest I’ve ever seen in that movie.

I’m undecided whether to get The Hobbit by Peter Jackson or not.  I’m a bit upset he stretched one book to three and then with the zillion endings to the Lord of the Rings trilogy since he had no idea how to really end it, it’s a toss up.  I think I’ll wait until it’s been out a couple years and the price drops to about five bucks I’ll get it.

Started watching Taken 2.  Have to say that while I’m not a big fan of Liam Liam Neeson I did enjoy Taken (which is why I got the sequal.)  I have to say that I do like it just as much as the first so they did a good job with continuing the story.  Will probably get the thrid when it comes out.

I have to say that while I have all the super hero movies, Iron Man is still my favorite.  Robert Downey Jr. has just the right amount of sarcasm/humor to make the movie enjoyable.  It’s light hearted rather than comic booky like DareDevil, Electra or Cat Woman.

How many times are they going to try and reboot superman?  Don’t they get why it flops?  Christopher Reeves did it in the 80’s and it’s immortalized.  That’s it.  Done.  You can’t tell me there isn’t someone else they can pick on.  Between DC and Marvel I’m sure there’s another superhero that can jump to the big screen rather than wasting money on rebooting the same one.

I’m glad the Batman trilogy is over.  I never carried for Christian Bale anyway and only got the second one because it was Heath Ledger’s last ‘officially complete’ movie.  Tom Hardy’s Bane is not nearly as good a villain as Heath Ledger’s joker.

There are so many great action packed movies, I sometimes don't know what to watch. Anyway Bruce Willis is one of all time favorite actors.
