Thanksgiving dinner
« on: November 05, 2012, 09:21:13 am »
What is everyone serving on Thanksgiving?

We generally have a lot of people over so I generally cook a turkey and ham, sometimes I will substitute the ham for pork loin. This year we are having turkey and roast for those that don't like turkey. I always serve fresh vegetables and the green bean casserole that everyone loves. I think I will make homemade rolls this year and mashed potatoes.  For dessert we are having cake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and my minced neat pie. Drinks are brought by the family since I do all the cooking.

I hope everyone has a good meal and a terrific time.

My siblings and I usually go over mom and dad's for Thanksgiving. We usually have so much food. My mom will usually cook the turkey, meatloaf, dressing, greens, and desserts like sweet potato pie, apple cobbler, and some kind of cake. The rest of us bring some sort of potluck dish. Last year, I took a picture of the feast and could barely fit it all into the picture because it was so much food. I enjoyed every minute of it though.
