Use to have a dog when I was growing up, don't have one now but I prefer dogs over cats.

I prefer cats.  I had a black cat named midnight who disappeared one day.  My daughter's answer to grief is to replace the lost cat with a new one.  That is what we did.   Now I have one cat and she has two.

I think I'm more of a dog person. I used to have both. I think a cat owns you and you own a dog. It is so good to come home and have a happy tail-wagging dog welcoming you!

I have had some really cool cats! But I LOVE dogs. There is just something about a dog. They are so sweet and so pure spirited. We have a sweet little Jack Russell that is just like a person. He is very sensitive too. He doesn't like it when anyone is upset. I can look into his eyes and know just what he is thinking. Anyone that knows him knows that he talks with his little eyes. He is 9 years old this year and I dread the day that we have to say good bye to him. I'm glad that all dogs go to heaven!
