plants
« on: December 02, 2012, 08:09:32 am »
There is a plant in the lobby of my apartment building.
When it isn't watered and it droops, it looks like it's ready to be trashed.
When someone comes along and waters it again, it springs to life.

i don't really like house plants, but i do like gardening
and decorating my patio in the spring. this past year
was my first time ever planting anything...  it all turned
out pretty nice, but i have a lot to learn!
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I love plants and gardening.  In fact I have some started in the garage for next spring and we have a bay window that faces south that's full of plants.  I just think they add a lot of beauty and they're also good for cleaning the air in your home especially in the winter when everything is closed up and they help to add humidity.

Sounds a little like us humans.  When we don't get nurtured (both physically and emotionally) we start to droop!  Then someone comes along and gives us what we need and we spring to life again.

I have a few plants in my house and would love to have more. You can water them to death, it is always better to error on the side of  dry. Once in awile i forget to water and then they will show stress. but perk right up with some. water and now i don't feed them much maybe once every month or so.  Whoknows maybe i have been lucky.

I agree with previous members....plants can bring a room to life! After many killings off of my plants, I have now learned to do a bit of research online to see where they should be (shade, half-shade, indoor, outdoor, etc) and how much I should water them. I am having much better luck now. I love plants!!!
