Wow, I haven't had any problems, but I do make sure that I have my Norton's updated and ALWAYS running, so I am sure that helps eliminate much fo it! Can't stress enough about using your anti virus programs!

This happens because of ad code (from adhitz.com) on the forum pages and on some PTC pages.  We are not placing harmful links or redirects, and neither is adhitz.  What's happening is that there's a virus or malware on your computer which is clever enough to intercept and re-write the adhitz ad code while it's being downloaded.  Then, the ad code triggers a redirect and your first thought (naturally enough) is to blame the site you were on when it appeared.

We have not been able to reproduce this on our end, tested extensively.

You can go to another site which has adhitz ads (e.g. clixsense.com) and see if you are hijacked/redirected.  If you are, it's a good idea to run a scan for malware and adware.  Keep in mind that not all anti-virus and anti-malware software are create equal, and sometimes you need specialized tools (e.g. if you have a rootkit).

No root kits here, no viruses or trojans, here.  The redirects are not a constant thing (where they were for a while).  However, they still happen, even to me.  Have run virus scans, malware scans, root kit finders, etc.  I even went so far as to look for BOTS (even though I haven't used IRC in years). There's nothing on my computer.  As a matter of fact, I haven't been "infected" in ANY way in many years.  I used to use Clixsense and never had a problem with their site.  Haven't used them for a while now.

I don't think anyone is trying to blame Fusion Cash for the problem but, we do want you to be aware that it is happening, nonetheless.  Thanks, Admin, for the explanation.  :)

For over a week now everytime I try to go to "My Thought Counts" I get a warning saying it has detected something that may be harmful to my computer.  I just close out of it but I sure do miss trying to qualify for those $1.00 surveys.  If anyone has any suggestions for me I would appreciate it.  Thanks!

I ran across an ad that was not nice at all. Thankfully my roommate suggested I run a scan and it cleared everything. Thanks Admin for the info.

Thanks Admin for being pro active and informing us of what you know about a situation like this. It is comforting to know that there are things that we can do to check our individual systems and to clean things up and that it is not something that we have done perhaps by misdirecting our clicks. Thanks again for all that you do and for keeping us informed.

Wow! okay now this maybe the reason that my system started running slow.  I have ran my virus protection and cleared my cookies and history, lets see what happens.

Thanks again!!

Something Good must be happening! Virus protection software has not blocked any potential attacks for about 10 days now. Way to go Fusion Cash!

hmm glad this hasn't happened to me.  I think I might have to call it quits if so it is not worth my computer.
