I spend it don't really keep it.  I have some change in a cup in my closet now but there isn't enough to roll it up and deposit it.

My spare change go into my piggy bank. And when it gets filled I take it to the bank to one of those change counters and cash it in.

When I've got change I put it in my coin banks, except for the quarters I use for laundry.

I just have mine in jars in my room.  One of these days I will get some rolls and bring it to the bank but I haven't been motivated enough to do it yet so it will wait.  I often try to use it to pay for things if I know it's going to be a small amount.  When I was in college I would use the nickles and dimes in my wallet to get stuff out of the vending machines to help clean out my wallet and save me some bills.  My Walmart's self serve checkout has a coin slot that you just drop the coins in, no feeding them in one at a time, so if I know I'm getting a few things there, I'll sometimes just dump a bunch of pennies into the machine.

Personally I would love to just trade them all in for bills, but there doesn't seem to be a quick way to do it without paying someone so until I find a way I will just continue to hoard my change.

I keep mine in a small jar as well but I take it to the bank when it gets full and run it through the coin machine. It often goes back in my wallet or bank account for later.

It all goes into a jar and then to the bank.  It can add up if you don't take any out.  I just took a short trip using what I have saved.

I have a giant one gallon glass jug and when I fill the entire thing its worth $500 usually. Depends on the amount of quarters but still its usually a nice sum.

We put ours in jars and give them out to people in need for Christmas.  We do it based on the short story "The Christmas Jar".   It was a pretty good story, if you can find it I recommend it.

What I do with my spare change is I always save it for when I really need it. If I don't save it... sometimes I will just go ahead and spend it.
