I've tried Almond milk and it's pretty good. It's a cheaper alternative to cow's milk.

I will not pay 7$ for milk it is just bad for us to have to pay 7$ for milk so I say we need to get some thing going so we do not have to pay all of that money like that so that you are not going to pay that money for milk. if they wont that money from me they will not get it I do not need milk like that all the time so let they pay for it not me.

I guess the market has to charge for the cost of giving hormone shots to the cows.
I don't drink it anymore.
There are other sources of vitamin D and calcium - those wonderful veggies
AND that is another fight we have on our hands with MONSANTO.
Some families, if able, are starting their own gardens, even in the city.

We quit buying milk awhile ago as it was alreasdy to high.  We have tried almond milk and like it, it is good for baking and cooking.

I hope milk doesn't get to $7 a gallon. That is ridiculous! If they want to increase the price of everything then they should increase how much people get paid to work. How do they expect people to feed their families.

;D I’m glad subsidies are no longer available for milking cows into exhaustion leading to their deaths. If anyone complains about the increase cost of milk hurting families and children will need to rethink again. It’s not comparable to the pain and suffering these cows have to go through repeatedly who are injected with hormones just to provide you a drop of milk which should have fed to her calf. Most newborn calves are instantly torn away from the mothers who never got a chance to bond & feed only to be slaughtered for veal. There is NO excuse for exploiting animals for profit.

Still think it's :bs:? The only milk for humans is breast milk which is real food for newborns. Children who are fed breast milk at early infancy have better health and immune system than those fed on formulas. There are other alternatives (almond, rice, coconut milk etc.) available as already mentioned by other members.
