I got freaked out a little when people said the doctors don't try as hard when you are a donar.  but that has to be nonsense.  if Im no longer alive and can help save a child's, a mother and so forth lives then that's awesome. You never know one day you may need one and bc that one donor is a donor they saved your liFe

Yes I am a donar and I was very proud of my daughter for choosing to be one also when she got her drivers license last month.  Our little cousin was a donar and saved two other peoples lives!!!!!!!

I started this topic by saying that a friend was waiting for a liver transplant. He got it yesterday. We are so grateful. He has some complications and a long road ahead of him but I have great hopes for him. Thank you to everyone who said yes to the question! And thanks to the family, whoever and wherever they are, that helped my friend during their time of great sorrow.

I am. So is my husband! I think being a donor is a selfless gift. I have known only a few people on transplant lists, and it is very sad to watch a young boy fight for his life while he waits. I want to be the one that helps make a difference!

I'm not an organ donor, but I plan on being one. After my grandma passed away of Mesothelioma, she donated the only organ that wasn't infested in cancer which was her eyes. About 2 weeks after she passed we got a call from the person's sister who received my grandma's eyes, they were so grateful for it.

I am.  We have a close friend on the transplant list.  So hoping he makes it until an organ becomes available. Please consider becoming a donar if you haven't already.

I am...it is so very important...my mom had a liver transplant in 1991, she lived 20 more yrs. with that liver...that is very rare but God heard and answered our prayers  :angel11:she passed 2yrs. ago and I miss her dearly...I pray your friend is blessed with a donar

i am a organ donor because i would love to help someone if something bad happened to me and i couldnt live anymore. I just like paying it forward.

Yes I am an organ donor. I was meaning to for years and when I got my license renewed at 21 they asked me and I simply said yes and now I am one. I have always wanted to if I have passed I would love to help as many people as I can. I just dont see how thats even a choice for me its a given this world needs so many more so many people die everyday waiting for organs.
