does anyone use checks anymore?

Do you still use checks im 21 years old and have never written a check because i feel i just use cash and debit cards i dont want to pay to get checks. I feel its useless but what about you guys do you still use ?

I pay most of my bills with checks. I dont even own a debit card.

I do love my debit card but yes i still use checks to pay some bills so i have a paper trail for the just in case moments--i just set up a account for my daughter with a debit card with no checks i want her to be responible with the account first then on to checks later

well because your 21 you have never written a check ok get it. I use checks and pay somethings on line .it is expensive to use checks but i guess old habits die hard.

I very rarely write a check. I mostly use my debit card and online banking to pay bills

I don't write too many checks but I do write checks to our Church every week.  My husband writes checks sometimes for car repairs or places that don't have a debit machine.  I'm the only one who carries a debit card but he takes it when he knows he's going someplace that will take a card.  Checks, like everything else have gotten really expensive so we don't use them too much.

I use on line banking for probably 98% of bills, but once in awhile I still write a check.

I probably only write 2 checks a month, one for my water bill and one for a loan company.  Neither of these places have online billing.  I will occasionally cash a check at the bank when I need some cash because our ATM only gives out 20's but that is really it.  I used to write a lot more checks but I figured doing everything through the mail was actually costing me money to pay my bills.  It takes me years to go through a box of checks.

I write about 10 checks a month for bills that come in the mail.  Otherwise I use my debit card.  Credit Cards I try to only use on rare occassions.  Somethings they require a credit card.  And, many places don't accept checks.  Seldom do I carry any cash what so ever often I don't even have change!  My how things have changed over the last 100 years!

I rarely use checks, but I just keep them with me just in case. I pay all my bills online or use my debit card.

I use checks for my rent & the bills that do not offer e-pay or charge a fee for paying online. You should keep a box just in case you ever need them.

Yes, I still use checks some but not as much as I did; Especially since most places give them back and to me that is a waste since I still have to pay to buy my checks. I like cash best because you don't have to worry about forgetting to write it down. The same way if I use a debit card sometimes I forget to write it down and then sit around trying to remember what I spent.
