Just to let you know it's not just "a video" claiming this was a hoax - there's a lot more out there pointing to this being a "staged" event put on by our dear government leaders!!!!  Don't be confused, but do believe THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE OR MINE!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not think it was a hoax.  The mental health of our country is not a healthy one.  As a former teacher, it is so sad that our children cannot go to school to learn and enjoy the process of growing up.  Instead we have to be bombarded with every ones political agenda on TV, radio, internet, etc.

It was such an unbelievable tradgedy that one would wish it was a hoax and that it never really happened.  It is sad that this is what it would take for the country to wake up to the problem of repeated mass killings. It had to be a mass killing of this type with these particular aspects to grab everyones attention.

It's utterly ridiculous! I didn't see the video (don't care to either), but I did read an article online where a professor of a university (forgot which one) claimed it was a hoax and said the President was behind it. Supposedly some political agenda. Please! Tell that to the families who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy. The sad part is some people will believe this nonsense.

I HIGHLY doubt it was a hoax. A security guard at my dad's work, his granddaughter was one of the kids who died. Her parents brought her back here to UT to be buried. With all the pink ribbons all over the city, the news and paper coverage, pictures of her mourning family...it can't be a hoax.

I really doubt this a hoax, but if this was one this is a sick one. However, I wouldn't be surprised the government possibly does things to mislead the public. Whenever I think about this I think about the movie Wag the dog.

i don't know what to believe anymore. the news is no longer news,

with all the focus on gun laws, would i put it past the government
to stage something like this?

So what's the purpose...to pass gun control legislation??  Seems unlikely that they could or would try to stage something like this just to gain a little clout for stricter gun control.
