What about a garage sale? Raise some funds for your private use.

I dont see anything wrong in regifting as long as the person your giving it to would actually use it.

I see no problem with it, as long as it 'fits' the person.
It would not be smart to give it to someone who knows the person who originally gave it to you - OF COURSE

I don't do it but I can see why people do. As long as the person you're giving it to has more use for it than you do it's fine.

I think it's rude! If a person went through the trouble of picking it out and purchasing it for you. In appreciation you should put it to use.

My thoughts................ If you truly appreciate the fact that they got you a gift and not what it was than it would be ok. Becareful not to give back to them  :sad1:

dmitchn1 I do understand it may seem rude but I tell people things I DO NOT like and they still buy it, i feel it is better to give someone a gift that will just be collecting dust and not having any use its always when the person would never know it was regifted !!

I see no problems with re-gifting.  Why not give it to someone who will use it!!! Just keep track of who gave it to you so u don't give it back to them...lol

I think it is distasteful and the memory I got, I would probably send it back to the gifter
