What is your opinion on the death of the LA X cop that was killed in California after taking so many lives?

It was his fate etched in stone.  You don't go around killing cops and expect to live.

I can't really speak to an opinion on his death itself, but what I can't believe is the stories I am reading about the city of LA talking about these "loopholes" in the law that  allows them to not pay out reward monies promised for information leading to his capture.

According to what I have read, considering his death, they are now saying that even though citizens were calling in as to exactly where he was, that since they got "his body" and not "him"  he was never captured and the rewards may or may not be paid out. 

This is baloney, to put it politely.

This is exactly why the police forces end up finding themselves with a lack of co-operation from citizens. 

That situation amazes me.  It would not be unimaginable for the next time something goes on in LA the assistance hot line to be silent.  It's just sad.
