do you talk to your neighbors?

I do to some, I dont go out of my way.  I like to mind my own business and in turn they do the same for me so it works out

I don't even know who my neighbors are. Why would I talk to them.

I talk to them a little sometimes, probably not as much as I should.

Since my closest neighbor is about two acres away, I don't talk to them.  We will wave if we see each other, but that's about it.

Yes we talk to our neighbors. We help each other out when it comes to yard work or even keeping an eye on their house. We just had a new couple move into the house on the other side of us, so my husband, daughter and I fixed up a basket of goodies and delivered them to the young couple. We introduced ourselves by name when we gave the gift. They were so appreciative and excited to meet their new neighbors.

Yes we always visit with our neighbors, and all of us look out for each other. In fact i have keys for 4 of our neighbors houses. When they are gone i water and do for them just as 2 have our keys and do the same for us. I have always had good luck with neighbors whether i live in an apartment building or out in the country. But i never get pushy about it. But we all like to visit when we get our mail or out watering in our yards. It is nice.

I would talk to my neighbors if I had them.  I have neighborhoods within a 1/4 mile, but I only have farm land and woods around me which is rather nice.

Sure we are on the corner so we talk to the one to the right of us they are very friendly and the couple in back of us also very friendly to, but then again we have and they have been here for 15 yrs or more and we usually wave to the other neighbors always try to smile at someone makes you and them feel good.

Yes when we are in the yard at the same time, we talk.  Neighbors are not like they were when I grew up.  We use to visit neighbors and they would visit you.  That is not done now.

Ever since I moved about 2 years ago I don't talk to my neighbors at all. At my old house I lived there all my life and I knew my neighbors well enough so naturally I talked to them.

I talk to my neighbors occasionally , but we all know each other at the apartment complex.
However I am moving soon, so hopefully my neighbors are super nice.

I have neighbors on one side that I get a long great with.  We talk all the time, they are like family.  On the other side is a single dad with three kids that will not speak to me at all! He was friendly with my ex husband.

Im just wondering if most people do because I do not much not because I dont like them because they are sweet but I just dont talk much. What about you ?

It would drive me crazy not to talk to the neighbors...not only do I talk to the neighbors but I have made life long friends

Not really. Most of the time our neighbors mind their own business and pretty much kept to themselves.

I agree, when I was young we knew all of our neighbors by name even though the houses were not that close together in the country. When the neighbors would walk down the road we would speak or have a conversation it time permitted. Neighbors were really neighborly back in the day. Today people just exist. I got mine now you get yours type of attitude.
