Have you ever been stung by a bee?

Yes!  I stepped on a bee when I was a kid.  I remember my mom putting a bandage with baking soda (I think) on it to help it heal.  It hurt at first but it got better and didn't bother me until it started to heal.  Then it became so itchy it drove me crazy!  This might have not been a problem if it was on my arm or something but the sting was in the arch of my foot.  Have you ever tried to itch the arch of your foot when you're ticklish?  Not fun, or easy.

Last summer I got stung right above my upper lip by my neighbor's bees when I was gardening in my yard. They didn't care and still refused to get rid of the hive in their wall!

Yes, I have been stung by a bee before. This happened when I was a young girl around 12 years old. I loved to play outside. I got stung when me and my brothers decided to disturb a bumblebee nesting  , why in the world did we do this, lol. We each got sticks and tried to knock the nest off the top of the shed corner. Without any notice a whole bunch of bees started flying out of the nest and we all started running and screaming around the yard. Two of us got bit  . Our mom put some ointment on the bee stung area as it started turning red and blistery, ouch!!!!

Yep! For the very first time about 3 yrs ago. I still remember the pain like it was yesterday. Walking along minding my own business. Hands down at my side. The bee which I did not see at first must have thought I was a threat, because he stung the hell out of my finger. It swelled for 3 weeks and felt like hell. There was no stinger in it but just the same. Now I hate bees!!!!

i was stung by a bee one summer day when i was having an vanilla iced coffee from mcdonalds. i was going into my parents porch and i didnt realize a bee was on my finger and i moved my finger and it stung. the bee was around because mom had blooming hastas all the way around the porch. she now has to cut the flowers off the hastas because of it. coz..she runs an in home daycare and it was better for me to get stung then one of the kids. now, that she cuts off the flowers the bees are not around as much and there less chance of the kids getting stung.

Yes, I have many times. I was mowing the grass when I was a kid and mowed over a yellow jackets home. They come after me. I was stung 16 times. I was sore for days and swelled up really bad. Another time I was at a church camp and a hornet got me on the elbow it was inside my sleeve and I didn't know it. It hurt like mad. Needless to say I don't like bees and I wish they would just stay away from me.

Bee stings, anyone?  I remember going horseback riding and my horse got stung on its rump.  It wasn't happy and went up on its hind legs, thus tossing me to the ground.  I also got stung.  Not a fun day.

Sorry to hear that.  I remember when I'm 8 year old also stung by the bee to.  That is a day to remember.

I can only remember being stung by a wasp in a most unusual way. I managed a clothing store and was opening a box of clothes when one flew out of the box and stung me. A coworker smoked and she put tobacco on the sting.

I was coming out of a laundrymat carrying a blanket, but didn't know a bee had landed on it, and before I knew it all of a sudden I had this pain, and along with the pain came alot of swelling.  It hurt for quite a while.
