I like working in the garden. I haven't started my vegetables yet except for the overwinter crops like onion and garlic. I have done a bit of planting bulbs and spreading compost in certain areas. I am still a little concerned that the cold weather isn't behind us. Last year is snowed around this time so I want to be careful.

I plant a garden for food every year. and every year I over plant and have to give some away. but its so rewarding and believe me I cant wait until spring when I can get back out there and get my hands in the dirt.

Sounds like most of you live in a nicer part of the country than I do.  Saturday afternoon my family and I went outside to pick up loose debris and clear out some of the over growth by the creek.  We managed to get a nice fire going in the pit.  Than Sunday night we were loading our truck up to shovel snow...So weird here in the midwest.  By Monday everything was melted again.  Sheesh.

I don't plant any vegetables or anything like that in my yard but that doesn't mean I don't work in the yard.  I have so many trees that by the time I get done racking up all the leaves, it is time to start over again.

I wish I was better with plants so that I could have a garden.  It would be nice to know exactly where your food comes from.

I have never done yard work but I wouldn't mind having a garden.

We're still getting winter-like weather here in central Pennsylvania, which i think is a bummer! Right now I'd like nothing more than to take my son outside to play in the lawn or to the park to feed the ducks. I'm especially excited for warmer weather because I deliver newspapers, and it's no fun to do when it's 25 degrees outside!

Gonna be working in mine this week. We got a little rain today but it is supposed to be in the 80's the next few days and I have a little time off so that and some spring cleaning is the plan.

It's always good to do a little work outdoors.

Man, I was just talking to my sister about gardening earlier today. I just hate it. Thankfully, we have some roses and other flowers that come back every year.
