Did you have a nickname growing up?

I was given a nickname the first day of high school that i couldnt shake.... even to this day i run into people who i went to school with that thought that it was my REAL name.... does anyone else have one?   

If there is enough interest in this thread i might even share my nickname....

Yes as a matter of fact I did have a nick name during high school, in some blunt conversation with a friend of mine, unsure as to how the conversation got to me being a baby but I told him my first words were mikkel  my parents trying to get me to say michael my real name, anyways he started calling me mikkel and before long everyone started doing it, it didn't bother me, but I cant say I was really fond of it.

when i was in 5th grade i was given the nickname 'sushi' for no real reason at all.. and it still sticks with me today, haha.

my dad always called me "punk"  i so wish i could hear him say that, he has been gone for over 8 years now and i really miss him..  anywayz no one else could call me that, just my dad..

I don't know if you ever told me your nickname jester2dr. Tell me, I want to know. I know you know my nickname but I'll tell everyone else. Mine was given to me by my papaw....it was Rabbit and I have always love it.

I personally dont care for nicknames. So much that I chose my childrens names so that they could not possibly be shortend. But of course you know kids, and surprisingly they did.

haha in middle school my friends called my poodle cuz in fifth grade my mom for some forsaken reason wanted to put a perm in my hair and i didnt quite know not to brush a perm so instead of using a pick or wide toothed comb i brushed my hair and it was all bushy... it looked really bad...
