What about the neighbors that called the police because they saw a naked woman in the yard.  One report claims she even had a dog collar on.  The police didn't take some calls seriously.

It is so hard to believe something like this goes on in America.  It's hard to even think about it, but I wonder how many other people are being held against their will in our country?  I still can't imagine how they had been kept locked up in that house in that close community for 10+ years without no one knowing any wiser.  Did he not carry food in or clothes??  My heart breaks for the families that have loved ones that are missing.  I praise God everyday for His protection for my loved ones.

Thank the Lord that there are still people out there that are willing to help and not turn the other way!!!!  So many people nowadays turn a blind eye as to what is going on around them!

 It is amazing to me that this could go on for so long and no one knew knew anything.  Not the family, the dopey brothers the neighbors even had bbq's in his backyard.  I guess maybe we all need to be a little more aware of our surroundings and a little less intent on our phones, and ipads etc.    I mean we have heard this same story repeated so many times over the last few years.     My prayers are with the young ladies and their families. May their healing begin, and may they not waste a minute more of their lives on that evil person.

Yea I just read about this news, I can't believe things like that happen it's such a horrible thing. Wow what those women must have gone through and the miscarriages they had geez they must be scared for life mentally and physically dealing with such situations.

WOW!!! Thank God! Yes this story will get interesting as more findings come in. I wonder what the neighbors saw, knew, did not do etc. It seems so unreal, but they are alive.

I feel great for them but the neighbors stories are bothering me.  They say they called the cops and they didn't respond....right.  If I new someone living near me had kidnapped someone I would not stop at one phone call if they didn't respond.  The story just doesn't add up.

Three women are kidnapped, held hostage for 10 years, and the main attraction is that the rescuer, Charles Ramsey, served time for domestic violence.  It is something wrong with this world.  Regardless of what he did time for, he stepped up to the plate and helped those girls escape their torture chamber.  He is a hero in my eyes.  That goes to show you that, even with three women being kidnapped, the big story bounced off them and put him in the spotlight.  Did you see him in the courthouse?  Castro had his head down looking at the floor.  Why?  He never expected he would get caught, nor did he expect those women to escape.  With that $8 million bond they gave him, he will never get out!!

I say let's get that guy a blue jumpsuit and pin an "S" on his chest. He is amazing! As for those poor women I can't even say how sorry I feel for them and what they must have had to endure to survive. One of them has a child by that monster, a poor child who will live out their lives knowing their birth was the result of kidnapping and rape. I am so happy for them that they got away from that beast. I also want to say that sometimes it's good not to give up even when things look hopeless. I can't even imagine how happy their families must be to have them back.

The part I find strange is that not only were they held captive for 10 years, but they were only a few blocks from where they lived. I find that odd. And when I read the story I read that one girl was 20 years old when she was abducted. And I still cannot wrap my head around that at least the older girl did not try and escape way earlier. It is a screwed up story and I hope they give all three of those guys the chair.

It is more likely than not that Castro had the 20 year-old restrained.  Remember that the police said they found ties and locks that would be used to restrain a person.  His secret is secret no more.  I heard this morning they may be seeking the death penalty in this case.  The first woman kidnapped, Michelle Knight, has yet to be seen.  If you are that sick and depraved, you go to get help for it.  Instead, he kidnapped three women, knew where they were, and claims he is a sex addict.  It can't get any worse than this.  Yet, there is a deeper thing here.  He was a trusted person, a bus driver, and he had the premeditated gall and nerve to do this.  People are going to not trust as much anymore and every bus driver is going to have to feel under scrutiny because of this person, as sick and depraved as he is.

I heard on CNN last time that the older girl already had some psychological issues when she was kidnapped.  She had a problem with processing reality around her.  She was already at a disadvantage from the beginning.  Maybe this is why she couldn't have done more.  Apparently she was the most abused one also.  As far as I know she is still in the hospital.

that was just amazing in itself that they were alive and in such good shape..and only 3 miles from their homes.so glad they were ok
